Q1. Will MMLE always be free?
Yes, Mineral Market's Link Exchange will always be free. With the help of you the subscribers and the increased support, MMLE should grow and develop into something spectacular.
Q2. Can I stop advertising at any time?
Yes, To unsubscribe from MMLE goto your Update Member Profile page. You will find an delete profile checkbox, this is how you unsubscribe.
Q3. How do I become a member?
Just follow three simple steps. 1) Goto the Join MMLE web page. 2) Read and agree to the terms and conditions. 3) Type in your Name, Email, Banner URL, LinkURL, Banner size (eg. 400x40), and your desired Password (Used in getting your Stats and updating your profile).
Q4. What Image formats can I use?
You can use any Standard Baseline JPEG or Standard GIF format. Please do not use Animated GIF or Transparent GIF formats. We may incorporate them in the future.
Q5. What Dimensions can the Images be?
We currently support for 400x40 pixels and 400x60 pixels. If you have a suggestion on image size, please use our Inform Form to tell us. If there is a high enough demand we will incorporate it into MMLE.
Q6. Why Doesn't my banner ever come up.
Simply, the banner CGI program catalogs your banner and it sees your unique html code and won't allow your banner to be displayed.
Q7. How do I change my banner?
You can change your banner by going to the Update Member Profile Page in the Members area and changing your BannerURL to the new image. You can also just copy over the old image using the same name for the new image.
Q8. How do you determine if a person running is up their hits?
MMLE logs all clickthroughs. We will look for any strange sequential clickthroughs through the same IP addresses. We will also look longstanding at our log file. If you are caught running up your hits, your account may be terminated forever.
Q9. Is my personal information secure?
Yes all information about you is kept secret by MMLE. We will not use your information for anything other than MMLE.
Q10. What Stats can I get from my banner?
You can get statistics on How many Impressions your banner has received, you can also view how many clickthoughs your banner has received. To get to the Stats program go to Stats in the Members Area.
Q11. What can I do for MMLE?
Well, if you like us that much, we could use a Million Dollars. If this is not practical, spread the word about Mineral Market and MMLE and how we are trying to change the Mineral, Gem, Fossil, and Geology community for the better.
