What is the MMLE? The MMLE stands for Mineral Market's Link Exchange. The MMLE is similar to other banner exchange programs. The difference is we show your banners to viewers interested in Gems, Minerals, Fossils, and Geology by limiting our subscriber's to Gem, Mineral, Fossil, and other Geology related web sites. How does it work? The HTML code we provide you contains code to call a CGI (Common Gateway Interface, A programming language used for the Internet.) file in place of an image tag. Once the CGI file is called it returns a random banner image to your page. The program catalogs all banner images and never lets your banner be dispalyed on your pages. That is why you will never see your banner on your pages. Unless you put it there of course. When a banner is displayed or clicked on it keeps track of number of impressions (How many times displayed) and number of hits (Clicks on banner). You can view your banner stats in the Member Area.
