AUCTION FORMATS

ABOUT OUR MULTIPLE AUCTION FORMATS

We run a multiple auction format.

 This means that we may have one or more individual auctions running simultaneously.  Each of these individual auctions will run independently of the others, having for the most part, independent starting and ending times and dates.  Some of them may overlap or even run concurrently with others; the basic important issue is that each auction is a totally separate "entity".

The "main" MFG Auctions Web page is, in a sense, a link and information page. When you "click" on any of the individual auctions it will link you to the "Home" Page for that particular auction.

It is important to understand that we also have several different auction formats (types) such as an inverse'; auction or a sealed bid'; auction just to mention a few.  Each of these auctions TYPES will have their own individual sets of rules. These rules will be very similar from one auction to the next but what applies to one auction typemay not necessarily apply to any of the other auction types. So please take the time to read the rules for each of the auctions carefully to avoid any confusion or misunderstandings.

HOW TO NAVIGATE FOR SPECIFIC SPECIMENS

To view a specific mineral click on it's corresponding thumbnail. This will bring the specimen's information, including an enlarged picture, into a new frame'; or window'; (pop-up).  It is within this new frame (Window or pop-up';) where specimen information is located and bidding activity takes place. 

HOW TO NAVIGATE FORWARD AND BACKWARD

To go to different minerals first close any previous pop-up'; windows, by either clicking the close-page'; button at the bottom of the page or closing it within the browser (by clicking the X at the top right hand of the screen – or whatever is specific to your browser).  To get to the next desired mineral click on the desired thumbnail to get to the bidding and information page.  To get to the other pages for a specific auction, simply click on the page numbers  (1, 2, 3 or 4) on the Page bar located a little above the thumbnail pictures.  To go back to the main auction page simply click on the "Home" link located at the bottom of the pages.

HOW TO CHECK CURRENT BIDS

You can check the status'; (current bids) of any specimen by clicking on the CHECK BIDS'; link, which is located on each of the auction pages a little above the specimen thumbnail images.  You can check any of the other pages by clicking on the page numbers on the page bar located at the top and bottom of every check bids page.

HOW TO CHECK PREVIOUS RESULTS OF LAST AUCTION

Located on the navigation bar at the bottom of each of the individual auction pages is a link to check the results of the previous auction session or you can click on the Auction Results link located on the main auction page. You can change pages by clicking on the page numbers on the navigation bar located at the top and bottom of every "results" page.
